The Genesee County Road Commission announces that Vassar Road from Hill Road to Jordan Road in Atlas and Grand Blanc Townships will be open to local traffic only on Friday and Saturday, August 12 & 13, 2016 for ditching operations.
Drop off locations will be at Lake Fenton High School and Flint East - Water Service Center. Click here for more information
There is a water main break near the intersection of Porter Rd. and Springdale Blvd. The Department of Public Works has a crew on site repairing the break. At this time, we anticipate that the work will be completed today in the late afternoon/early evening.
Lead is a very serious contaminant in drinking water. Even though Grand Blanc Township residents should have no worries regarding lead in our public water supply, the link below has helpful information on lead in drinking water. This information may help you better understand why the City of Flint is in the midst of such a crisis.
